Homeopathy is a journey. For me it started with my daughter suffering with recurring ear infections and subsequent 'glue ear' that made her gradually lose her hearing. We searched for a safe solution for three long years and visited many NHS and private specialists in the UK and other countries. Over those three years and countless rounds of antibiotics, there was no improvement and only a gradual decline in my daughter's health. By the time I gave up on mainstream medicine my daughter was 8 years old, she lost 90% of hearing in one ear and 50% in the other, and it had a huge impact on her learning abilities too. As there was deafness in family, we started to expect the worst.

A visit to a homeopath was neither planned nor expected. It somehow happened during a family visit to India. After two weeks of taking the prescribed remedies my daughter's hearing was actually back to normal. Her hearing was in fact perfect. In the subsequent months and years she never had an ear infection again. Since then we never used antibiotics for neither of my two daughters, in fact they never needed to visit a doctor again.

I was fascinated by this 'miracle cure' and started to 'experiment' with homeopathy on willing friends and family (I still do!). Even without any formal knowledge, there were some amazing results, which further fuelled my interest. I embarked on a formal education, initially learning 'classical' homeopathy with International Academy of Homeopathy run by world-renowned Homeopath Prof. Vithoulkas and later 'practical' homeopathy through a Post-graduate programme at College of Practical Homeopathy in London, run by excellent 'practical' homeopath Ellen Krammer. Throughout my education I was treating patients, either via student clinics or privately, with various, often debilitating, health problems. Whilst not all those patients were 'restored to health' and 'miracle cures' were more rare than I hoped, I can't recall a single case that did not get better. Bearing in mind the fact that Homeopathy is the very last resort for many, the results were in fact amazing.

My actual background has little to do with medicine, it is not even close. After doing BA (Hons) in Politics, Philosophy and History in Birkbeck College in London I started my professional career working as a journalist for a London-based newspaper focusing on Polish diaspora (mostly ex-soldiers who settled in the UK after Second World War) and later worked as Producer for BBC Radio. Soon after, I founded a language translation agency, which was one of a string of businesses I was involved in during subsequent years. Whilst financially very rewarding, no matter what I achieved in the companies I was associated with, nothing ever felt as rewarding as finding the right remedy for my patients and getting them better. Over the years, whilst formally or informally studying, I gradually reduced my 'business' involvement and I now dedicate as much time as I can to what I love doing: healing with homeopathy.

My desire is to get people's health better. I still get excited when patients report after a short period of time a positive shift in their health. For others it takes much longer and they may need extra motivation to carry on. I believe that if we keep trying we can achieve miracles.

PS. My daughter whose hearing was cured with homeopathy is now 17. She has special affinity for deaf and over years learned formal BSL. Her hearing is still perfect.
